Intermediate lava flow-unsubdivided 2 Dacte Host
Felsic Agglomerate 3 Rhyolite Agglomerate Host

Lithology Comments

Aug 26, 2009 (A Wilson) - The showing is described as consisting of intermediate metavolcanics injected with a regular quartz stockwork. Pyrite accompanies the quartz mineralization and occurs as fine disseminations in the adjacent rock. A diamond drill hole completed by Dowa Mining intersected a sequence of mafic to intermediate metavolcanics with siliceous bands and patches; graphitic slate and rhyolitic breccia/agglomerate. Diamond drilling by Pamorex describes intersections of pillowed mafic metavolcanics containing quartz-carbonate veins

Mineralization Comments

Aug 26, 2009 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by W. Savage returned $2.10 and $1.40 gold per ton from quartz-carbonate stringers. Samples collected by Edal Mines Limited reportedly returned 0.04 oz/t gold over 23 cm. A grab sample collected by the Ontario Geological Survey in 1998 returned 0.21 oz/t gold. Grab samples collected by J. Robert in 1998 returned 6069 ppb Au, 3189 ppb Au and 0.014 oz/t gold.
