Point Location Description: General, stripped outcrop 800 ft. E of Provins Pond.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: From Timmins follow Pine Street south about 70 km into Zavitz Tp. About 4 km east of of the Dexter Creek crossing, an old logging trail leads north and then west to the sulphide showing.
In 1951, the Dominion Gulf Company located sulphides in an outcrop of rhyolite breccia about 800' east of what they named as Provins Pond. A nickel test on the sulphides yielded a positive result. In 1974m R. Rouseau and R. Rochon may have completed some trenching on this outcrop, but this is not certain.
