Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - DDH AZ-85-1 was drilled under the Fiset Occurrence. The drill hole extended through the porphyritic syenitc and intersected a metasedimentary/metavolcanic sequence including argillite-siltstone, graphitic sulphide zones, carbonate breccia and felsic metavolcanic rock and ultramafic rock. The zinc mineralization reported from the graphitic sulphide zones.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - The sulphides occurr as stringers ans nodules within the graphitic sulphide zones. Sphalerite was not reported in the ddh log even the assays indicated an abundance of 2% or more. The sphalerite species is probably black in colour.

Alteration Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - The alteration noted in the drill log is associated with the fragmental felsic metavolcanic and with the ultramafic rock.Fuchsite is also reported in the drill log.
