Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - According to Inmet, gold occurs in pyritized albite dikes and pyritized/albitized volcanics (variolitic basalt and ultramafic volcanics?) Pyrite mineralization occurs as fine disseminations (up to 5-10%) often associated with astockwork of quartz veinlets. Strong iron carbonate alteration is also present in the host rocks.
