Lithology Comments

Oct 08, 2014 (A Wilson) - A 1.3 ft long section of mafic metavolcanics from Cleyo DDH 6436 88-2 returned 0.035 oz/t Au. A 1.6 ft long section of mafic metavolcanics from Cleyo DDH 6436 88-4 returned 0.071 oz/t Au and a 2.3 ft length of core from immediately below the first intersection also returned 0.071 oz/t Au. The best intersection from the drill program was from Cleyo DDH 6436 88-8 which returned 0.081 oz/t Au over 1.5 ft of core. All elevated values came from pillowed to hyaloclastic mafic metavolcancs.

Mar 10, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - The intermediate to felsic metavolcanics are found to contain up to 10 % of fine-grained, disseminated pyrite, and are extremely hard. Only one exposure of tuffaceous rock was reported. It shows definite clastic features. The rock is composed of approximately equal proportions of rounded to sub-rounded quartz and feldspar clasts, which are supported by a chlorite-muscovite-carbonate-rich matrix.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 10, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - All the rock types display at least minor degrees of primary pyrite or magnetite mineralization. Two auriferous zones (A-Zone and B-Zone) have been identified. Of the two, A-Zone has given promising results. Grab samples collected from the A-Zone in 1986 returned results including 0.088 oz/t Au (sample # 6436-0019); 0.042 oz/t Au (sample 6436-0055) and 0.028 oz/t Au (sample 6436-0054). The A-zone is located within a dark-green, brecciated, carbonatized and magnetic rock that shows silicified and carbonatized fragments with 10 - 15 % fine-grained, disseminated pyrite. REF: KL0503

Alteration Comments

Mar 10, 2010 (J Suma-Momoh) - Secondary pyrite is dominant in the breccia-alteration zones.
