Geology Comments

Jun 13, 2016 (A Wilson) - The area is underlain by the Nat River iron formation, intermediate to felsic volcanic rocks of the Hanrahan Assemblage and cumulate ultramafic to mafic complexes. Lenses of massive pyrite and pyrrhotite occur up to 1.4 m wide along the iron formation contacts. The sulphides and small quartz veins carry low gold values up to 0.04 oz/t Au.

Lithology

Magnetite Ironstone 1 Magnetite-Facies Banded Iron Formation Host
Porphyry-unsubdivided 2 Near
Mafic lava flow-unsubdivided 3 Basalt Near
Vein 4 Quartz Contains

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Approximately 1900' of diamond-drilling was conducted on the property with two holes intersecting an iron formation. Zones of massive pyrite and pyrrhotite were reported along the contact with low anomalous gold values reported associated the sulphides and small quartz veins associated with a porphyry.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Massive pyrite and pyrrhotite with widths up to 5' encountered in two drill holes along contact of iron formation. Few low gold values in the order of 0.04 oz/ton were obtained with the sulphides and small quartz veins within the iron formation.
