Feb 28, 2008 (A Wilson) - South of the shaft (100 ft) a pit has been sunk of an 8 ft wide quartz vein. This vein strikes 100° and dips vertically and has been traced for 50 ft to the east as a zone of quartz stringers in sheared, chloritic andesite.

Feb 28, 2008 (A Wilson) - Grab samples from the muck pile collected by Nelson Hogg in 1949 returned trace amounts of gold. Mineralization in the rocks on the rock dump is described as massive and disseminated. Grab samples of well mineralized quartz from a vein 100 ft south of the shaft also returned only trace gold. Visible gold was observed in Galore Gold Resources Inc. DDH G-1. Grab samples collected by Lapierre et al. from a trench south of the shaft returned assays up to 3.85% Cu, 17.2% Zn and 1.33 oz/t Ag.
