Lithology

Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Vein 1 Quartz Host
Gabbro 2 Gabbro Sheared Contains

Lithology Comments

Feb 28, 2008 (A Wilson) - The showing consists of narrow quartz veins within sheared gabbro. The gabbro is locally intruded by narrow dikes of granophyre. A quartz diabase dike cuts off the mineralized shear zones and quartz veins. The shear zones have been traced for about 300 feet. These zones of shearing converge into a single shar 5 feet wide. They are eastward striking and dip north 80°.
