Jul 13, 2020 (G Seim) - Murdoch (1934) in Timmins Assessment File T-71 Granodiorite intruding quartz porphyry. The vein occurs in both rocks. The vein is made up of a series of parallel quartz stringers, in places containing a high percentage of pyrite and a little chalcopyrite. The wallrock is highly silicified and shows a fair amount of sericitization. The percentage of quartz across the average section would be approximately seven. Strike is N12E Dip is vertical to 76 E Average width is 3 ft. approx. exposed length is 120 ft.

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - In 1934 gold averaged $34.58. Assay reported from the Shankman occurrence include $5.80 over 2ft. .2 in., Tr. over 3 ft. 3 in, $3.20 over 1ft. 5 in., $1.80 over 3ft. 6 in., $3.80 over 3 ft. 9 in., $2.00 over 2 ft. 10 in., $4.80 over 1 ft. 7 in., 1.80 over 3ft and $0.80 of 2ft. 5 in. N. Hogg (1946) reports that this zone yields free gold.
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected from the vicinty of the occurrence by Cleyo Resources returned best values of 0.02 oz/t Au in 1983.
Jul 13, 2020 (P Bousquet) - Several holes were drilled by Melkior Resources Inc (T-6267, p. 32), with intersections varying from 0.7 to 27 m, at grades of 0.53 to 56 g/t gold. Hole CAR-20-06 intersected 0.5 m at 67.9 g/t Au, 0.62% Cu, 0.27% Zn and 79.7 g/t Ag between 495 and 495.5 m. The hole coordinates for CAR-20-06 are: Easting: 451957 Northing: 5357827, Total length: 750m, Bearing: 240 degrees N. The hole was drilled to test a geophysical anomaly. The mineralization reported would be from a volcanogenic massive sulphide environment (Melkior Resources Inc, press release, May 21, 2020).
