Access Description: Travel south of Timmins 20 km on the Dalton road to the Wawaitin Falls dam. The site lies 800m to the west of the dam.
1917: J. Thibault - boiler installed, shaft sunk on claim P.7556, second shaft sunk on claim P.7538 (final depth 114 ft). 1933: Hollinger Consolidated Gold Mines Limited - 14 ddh (3000 ft). 1934-38: Darby Development Company- mapping, 8 ddh (6479 ft), 5-ton mill installed, 2 buttons of gold produced. 1940: Maryland Porcupine Gold Mines Limited - property optioned. 1945-46: Coniagas Exploration - diamond drilling.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Grab samples taken from the rock dumps in 1923 returned gold values ranging from trace to $14.80 ($2.40 Ag). Underground plans indicated 5 ft chip shamples collected in 1938 retruned values ranging from trace to $10.50 in the vicinity of the shaft. Best assays from the Maryland drilling in 1939 retunrd $1.40 Au over 5 ft.
