Geology Comments

Jun 16, 2020 (G Seim) - Diamond drill hole PA97-4 collared in a felsic intrusive at 8.5 m. The hole continued in the intrusive to a depth of 108 m intersecting a sulphidized shear zone from 28 m to 30.6 m. From 108 m to the end of the hole at 175.5 m, the hole cut intermediate to mafic volcanic rock intruded by narrow feldspar porphyry dikes. Stringers and patchy chalcopyrite and pyrite occur in and near narrow moderately sheared zones and with narrow quartz veins. Sampling of these sheared zones and quartz veins yielded anomalous to occurrence-grade gold and copper assays. However, no distinguishing features were noted in the drill log for the interval that yielded the best gold assay.
