Dec 07, 2005 (Q Unknown) - The northeast corner of Deloro township, south of the Destor Porcupine Fault, is underlain by mafic to intermediate and felsic to intermediate calc-alkalic flows and pyroclastics of the Deloro Group. Iron formation is commonly found through the flows and a thick band separates the mafic to intermediate and felsic to intermediate flows. Porcupine sediments are found north of the Deloro Group followed by the komatiitic ultramafic volcanics of the Tisdale group. Locally quartz feldspar porphyries intrude the sequence. Diabase dikes of the Matachewan and Abitibi dike swarms are present.

Dec 07, 2005 (Q Unknown) - Pillowed metavolcanics, sericite carbonate schist, and iron formation are the main lithologies. Gold values occur in tension fractures in the iron formation.

Dec 07, 2005 (Q Unknown) - The gold occurs in quartz filled tension fractures in iron formation. A swarm of white quartz veins were examined using a 5x3x3ft trench in 1986. Six muck samples were taken of which three were anomalous values of 0.012, 0.018, and 0.018. No other anomalous values are recorded.
