A 1939 report by H.T. Leslie on the propery of Agawa Porcupine Mines Limited. He reported that on claim T.R.S. 842 some wide areas of the iron formation occur. They are mainly bands of granular quartz heavily mineralized with pyrite, dipping to the east, sometimes at a very flat angle. All of these outcrops were thoroughly channel sampled and gold values with the exception of $5.60, $2.10 and one for $0.70 were trace or nil. These values were apparently based of the old gold value of $20.67 an ounce.
