Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The ore occurs in the vicinty of the contacts between a pillowed and amygdaloidal flow, a massive coar-grained leucoxene flow and medium grained pillowed flows. Black shale lies along both contacts of the mafic rocks.

Mar 05, 2014 (A Wilson) - A surface drill hole completed in 1931 returned 1.23 oz Au over 9.9 ft in core. The ore consists of heavy sulphide replacement of brecciated pillowed flows. Visible gold was observed in places, usually associated with brown sphalerite in the quartz-carbonate matrix. The average grade of the ore in leucoxene andesite was approximately 0.60 oz/t and the average in the pillowed metavolcanics was 0.30 oz/t.
