Access Description: Travel south of Shumacher on a bush road that leads 300m south of the television tower. The north shaft can be found here and the south shaft is 450m to the south.

Mar 05, 2014 (A Wilson) - The veins and stringers can be traced for about 600 ft in an east-west direction. The width of the zone varies from a few inches up to a maximum of 15 feet or more. The vein dips north 60°. Mineralization on surface consists of sparsely mineralized quartz-ankerite stringers and veins. Free gold occurs erratically in the veins, especially near the shaft. Two additional veins (Crown and French) were found approximately 300 feet south of the Alma Vein. The property has at least 7 zones of quartz veins that have associated gold values.

Mar 05, 2014 (A Wilson) - Assays from the inclined shaft ran $4 to $5 /t Au circa 1914. Samples collected in the vicinity of the shaft in 1937 returned $0.35 from an outcrop and $8.40 Au from the main vein. A sample from the shaft dump also returned $0.35. Samples collected from the property in 1923 by Goldacre Mines Limited returned values ranging from $12.00 Au to $47.20 Au at the Alma Vein. Two additional samples collected from the Alma Vein 120 ft west of the shaft returned $16.00 and $100.80. Grab samples collected by Northim Mines in 1975 returned values ranging from 0.16 to 2.04 oz/t Au. A bulk sample of 1257 lb has returned an assay of 0.534 oz/t Au. The best assay from the1992 sampling completed by Cogema Canada returned 12589 ppb Au.
