Mar 07, 2014 (A Wilson) - Elevated gold values were returned from metasedimentary rocks with quartz-calcite veining. Mineralized structures were located at porphyry/volcanic contacts, along flow top contacts and interflow sedimentary units, within thin massive tholeiitic units and volcanic breccia units (mainly of the Central Formation of the Tisdale Assemblage).

Mar 07, 2014 (A Wilson) - Gold mineralization at Hollinger was associated with pyrite at the margins of quartz veins, in a wide zone of sericite-ankerite/ferroan dolomite alteration around the western edges of the Pearl Lake Porphyry. Assays from the 2010 technical drilling project returned assays ranging from 0.0025 g/t Au over 1 m to 15 g/t Au over 1 m in quartz ankeritic veins. Scheelite was mined from the Hollinger Mine from 1940 to 1943. Ore was shipped to Bureau of Mines in Ottawa between 1940 and 1941, but was produced on site at the Hollinger from 1942-1953. The mine produced 454,866 pounds of scheelite, valued at $756,955.00.
