Mar 05, 2014 (A Wilson) - Gold occurs in shear-hosted vertical veins which cut metavolcanic and metasedimentary rock, in flat veins related to the vertical veins, in metavolcanic and sediment-hosted, fold related hook-veins, porphyry hosted discontinuous veins and stockwork gold-quartz stringers which cut intrusive breccias. The Coniaurum Mine produced 461 pounds of scheelite valued at $1447.00 in 1952
