1919 March Gold, Limited is incorporated. 1920 By this time, consideralble development work reported to be completed on the March property. 1922 March Gold deepens shaft from 100 ft to 335 ft. level and completed 106 ft. of addtional drifting on the -100 ft. level and 1043 ft. of drifting and cross-cutting was completed on the -321 ft. level. 1923-24 March Gold, Ltd. 2 compartment shaft (4 ft. X4.5 ft. each) deepened from 335 ft. to 800 ft. levels established at 321 ft , 500ft. and 800ft. with 230 ft. of drifting on the 321 level, and 400 ft. of drifting and 540 ft. of cross-cutting on the 800 level. 4 u/g ddh totalling 1080 ft. and 2 surface ddh totaling 2260 ft. 1924 March Gold, Ltd. 4 surface ddh totaling 1276 ft. In Dec. an inclined shaft (-60 deg. N) was started near NE corner of H.R. 833. 1925 inclined shafted deepened to 190 ft. with levels at 60 and 170 ft., 340 ft. of drifting completed. A vert. shaft was sunk close to the inclined shaft to a depth of 240 ft. 1926 vert. shaft (No. 3) deepened to 330 ft. with levels at 170 and 300 ft. Stoping started on No. 3 vein. 150 ton per day mill erected, started on July 4, suspended on month later, restarted Nov. 17. Milling suspended Feb 15, 1927 and mining on March 15. 1927 March acquires Maidens Macdonald claims, mining resumed Nov. 1, 1927. 1928 Mining continued, Milling resumed May 1. 1932 Mining and milling ceased during the year. Mine allowed to flood. 1933 Marbraun Gold Mines, Ltd. takes over holdings of March Gold Ltd. Dewatering starts in Dec. 1934 Milling resumesin July. Nov. 30, 1935 Marbruan Gold Mines acquired by Buffalo Ankerite Gold Mines, Ltd. -- Becomes Buffalo Ankerite South Mine. Thereafter, all results reported to Buffalo Ankerite.
