Access Description: Access to the property is off of the McKay Lake road south of the Buffalo Ankerite Mine.
1917 - Surface work by Rypan Porcupine Mines Ltd. 1929 - 4000 ft. of diamond drilling by Rypan Porcupine Mines Ltd. 1945-46 - 10,000 ft. of diamond drilling by Rypan Porcupine Mines Ltd. 1981 - Amax Minerals Exploration conducts geological and geophysical surveys. 1986 - J.A. Mortson completes Mag and VLF surveys. Moerston revealts Rypan drill plan/geology map has notation that commercial gold values were intersected in holes 15 and 16. 1988 - Kingswood Exploration Ltd. conducts stripping and sampling program, all assays less than 3 ppb. 1990-91 Ivon Collin, John Grant and K. Lapierre completed furthr stripping and sampling, assays up to 398 ppb Au, and Mag VLF and IP surveys. 1998 - M. Tremblay and J. Robert complete prospecting, stripping, and sampling. Best assay of 521 ppb Au from green carbonate boulders.

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - The Rypan property is underlain by massis and pillowed basalt. East-trending iron formation horizons are found in the northern part of the property. A feldspar porphyry dikes or sills intrudes the volcanics. An east-trending shear zone are found on the southern boundary of the property. Weakly anomalous gold values have been obtained from the shear zone.
