Access Description: Travel south from Timmins along Pine Street South for 6 km to a point just north of Pardis Creek. The sit elies 275 m west of the road through thick bush.



Exploration History

1912: Porcupine Golden Quill Mining Company: property staked. 1924-26: Gold Qull Mines Ltd. - 200 ft diamond drilling, shaft to 22 ft. 1929-39: Ridgedome Mines Limited - shaft sinking to 125-ft, cross cut developed, trenching, diamond drilling (6 holes). 1981: Amax Minerals Exploration - mapping. 1984: Hibbard, Karpovitch and Rousseau - ground geophysics. 1983: R. Rochon - trenching, stripping. 1989: Black Cliff Mines Ltd. - mapping, ground geophysics, 1 ddh (406 ft). 1994-97: Willow Resources - prospecting, ground geophysics. 1986-2003: L. B. L. Richgold Mines Inc. - beep mat survey, prospecting, sampling.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Two samples from the porphyry collected at depth from the shaft returned $4.55 Au over 4 ft and $15,40 Au over 6 ft. A 3 ft wide sample of the vein in an underground drift returned $4.90 au.
