Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - Trench 12 was excavated in an area underlain by mafic to intermediate calc-alkaline flows of the Deloro Group. These rocks are intercalated with thin bands of iron formation and mafic breccias. The trench exposed a west-trending, northward dipping mineralized, oxidized, foliated zone within carbonate altered, intermediate volcanic rock. The zone is mineralized with pyrite and pyrrhotite with irregular trending quartz veins throughout. The veins have widths up to 2 ft.
