Access Description: The shaft is located on the W side of Ankerite Rd. about 900 m south of the intersection with Gold Mine Rd. between Timmins and South Porcupine.
1916 La Rose Mines, Ltd. held an option on claim M.R. 826. The No. 1 shaft was sunk to 107 ft. and the No. 2 shaft, inclined at 65 degrees. The 2 shafts wer to be joined by a drift on the 100 ft. level. LaRose gave up the option in 1917. 1917 Property taken over by Ankerite Gold Mines Ltd.
