Exploration History

1936, Hollinger C.G.M.L.: Field visit, sampling (T-349) In Nov. 2002, Ontex Resources Ltd. drilled 3 holes on the O'Shea Zone. According to the drill logs all three holes tested beneath a high grade Au vein exposed in trenched. Each hole intersected the O'Shea Zone, but only FY-02-08 intersected occurrence-grade gold mineralization. (T-4803) 2002-2003, Ontex: Geophysical surveys (T-4966); geology, surface sampling and assays (T-4955)

Mineralization Comments

Dec 13, 2006 (G Seim) - In FY-02-08 (Az 075 deg, dip -45 deg), the interval from 41.36 m to 42.49 m averaged 0.66 g/t Au over 1.13m. This is within the O-Shea deformation zone. Further down the hole the interval from 69.83 m to 70.37 (0.54 m) returned 0.935 g/t Au.

Dec 13, 2006 (D Draper) - Surface sampling of the O'Shea Zone in the vicinity of dh FY-02-08 yielded the followng results: 80m NE of dh: 1.51 g/t Au (sample 6609, andesitic volcanics) 35m N of dh: 0.91 and 54.38 g/t Au (samples 6638, 6640, granodiorite) 70m SE of dh: 23.21 and 11.66 g/t Au (samples 6602, 6603, from pit in andesitic volcanics) 130m S of dh: 2370 ppm Ni (sample 65431, ultramafics) 160m S of dh: 2510 ppm Ni (sample 65430, ultramafics) 230m NW of dh: 2160 ppm Ni and 2120 ppm Ni (samples 6643 and 65271, both in ultramafics) (T-4955)
