Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The deposit is located in a sequence of extrusive ultramafic rocks lying atop a volcano-sedimentary pile composed of felsic-intermeidate volcanic rocks including abundant crystal tuff and localized cherty-sulphide iron formation.

Notes: The sulphides occur as massive thin concordant lenses 0.3-2.5 m thick overlain by disseminated or net-textured mineralization 1 to 3 m thick. Minor ore also occurs interstitial to olivine blades in some spinifex-textured flow tops. disseminated pyrite is common in the footwall volcanic rocks and locally, grades of 0.8 to 1.0% Ni are encountered.
