Access Description: Access to the property is via the Langmuir Road. Drive south to the boat launch on Carmen Bay. A ten minute boat ride to the south takes you to the eastern part of the property.
1951: Dominion Gulf Company - ground geophysics, mapping, trenching. 1966: Mespi Mines Ltd. - airborne geophysics, ground geophysics, 3 ddh (1358 ft). 1972-73: International Nickel Company - ground geophysics, 1 ddh (1025 ft). 1990: Timmins Nickel Inc. - airborne geophysics. 1995-96: Outokimpu Mines Ltd. - ground geophysics. 2022: EV Nickel Inc. completed 28 diamond drill holes totaling 8,295m.

Apr 12, 2023 (Sheree Hinz) - The CarLang Property is underlain by Archean intermediate to mafic metavolcanic rocks, intermediate to felsic metavolcanic rocks, and chemical metasedimentary rocks (silica and sulphide facies iron formation) of the Deloro Assemblage and intermediate to felsic metavolcanic rocks, ultramafic (komatiitic) metavolcanics and/or ultramafic (komatiitic) intrusive rocks, chemical sedimentary rocks (silica and sulphide facies iron formation; argillite) of the Tisdale Assemblage. Younger high-magnesium ultramafic intrusive rocks (komatiitic), comprising variably serpentinized dunite, peridotite, and pyroxenite, intrude rocks of the Deloro and Tisdale assemblages and are the target rocks for mineralization on the property. The CarLang Property overlies upper komatiite horizon and lower komatiite horizon (Stone and Stone, 2000) ultramafic rocks, representing the flows and associated feeder sills, respectively. The CarLang A Zone is interpreted to be part of the lower komatiite horizon, a differentiated ultramafic sill consisting largely of peridotite-dunitic rocks, estimated to be 400 to 600 m wide, and steeply dipping to the east.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Asbestos fibres up to 1/4 inch were found in fractures. A sample of drill core from Mespi Mines CL#2 returned 1892 ppm Ni (DCL record TI2271). A core sample from Mespi Mines CL#3 returned 2280 ppm Ni and 1941ppm Ni (DCL record TI2461).
Mar 03, 2023 (Sheree Hinz) - EV Nickel Inc. diamond drilled 28 holes outlining a mineral resource estimate within a mineralized domain hosted by variably serpentinized ultramafic rocks.
