Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence consists of a sulphidized contact between trondhjemite and rhyolite. The trondhjemite of locally intruded by a porphyry dike. Pyke describes the occurrence as consisting of oxide-facies iron formation.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Gold values of up to $11.00 Au/t have been reported from this vicinity. Grab samples of the sulphides gave low values in Cu and Ni. A grab sample collected in 1927 returned an assay of Ni - trace, Au - trace, Cu - 0.16%, and nil Pt.
