Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence consists of a sulphidized contact between trondhjemite and rhyolite. The trondhjemite of locally intruded by a porphyry dike. Pyke describes the occurrence as consisting of oxide-facies iron formation.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A gold value of $10.70 Au/t is reported to have come from this zone. A grab sample collected from the edge of the pit in 1959 returned an assay of 0.58% Cu and trace Ni.
