Location Method: Based on Assessment
Access Description: Travel south of South Porcupine 15 km on the Springs and Langmuir Mine roads to a point where the site can be accessed. The site lies approximately 1 km south west of the main road. An old bush road comes to within 90 m of the site.
1964: E. Galata - prospecting, trenching, sampling. 1964-65: Urban Quebec Mines Ltd. - 6 ddh (1256 ft). 1964: Mespi Mines Limited - airborne geophysics. 1969: E. Galata - 2 ddh (1000 ft). 1969-70: Falconbridge Ltd. - ground geophysics, 10 dh (3786 ft). 1994-95: Outokumpu Mines Ltd. - ground geophysics, 6 ddh (1886 m), stripping, sampling. 2003: Liberty Mineral Exploration Ltd. - airborne geophysics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A sample collected by Galata returned 1.56% Ni, 0.14% and 4.3% S. Grab samples collected by Hollinger in 1964 returned best assays of 2.64% Ni, 0.18% Cu over 18 inches. Assays from the Urban Quebec drilling ranged from 0.03 to 0.99% Ni, averaging 0.27%. The best Cu intersection was 0.37% Cu and 0.14% Ni over 5 ft. A grab sample collected by the OGS in 1969 returned 1.77% Ni, 1.25% Cu.
