Access Description: Point Located: A point 1.45 km north of the southwest corner of Egan Township.
1969: Bellechasse Mining Corp. Ltd. prospected, trenched, and completed magnetic and electromagnetic surveys (assessment files, Resident Geologist's Office, Kirkland Lake). 1995-1996: Haddington Resources Ltd. completed ground magnetic, IP, soil geochemical and mapping surveys near the area. The surveys did not appear to go over the showing.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Geological mapping (Wright 1922, Pyke 1976, Jensen and Baker 1986, Johnstone and Steele 1989; Richard and McClenaghan; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) indicates that bedrock in the area is largely glacial drift covered and consists mainly of weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies except marginal to large intrusive felsic bodies, where amphibolite grade contact metamorphic aureoles may be developed) subaqueously deposited volcanic rocks of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group and large felsic intrusive bodies.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - A small occurrence of titaniferous magnetite with minor chalcopyrite is reported (Wright 1922) to be hosted by a (Proterozoic) Matachewan diabase dike (Heaman 1989).
