Dec 01, 2015 (C Salo) - Recent geological mapping indicates that poorly exposed bedrock in the area consists of weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic grade) volcanic rocks of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group.

Dec 01, 2015 (A Wilson) - The area is underlain by a series of mafic metavolcanic flows and gabbroic dikes. A 10 m wide mineralized shear zone occurs within a 100 to 150 m wide NE-trending gabbro dike.

Dec 03, 2015 (A Wilson) - Leahy reports that a channel sample from the old trench assay 0.04 oz./t Au over a width of 5 feet. A grab sample of the porphyry returned nil Au. Samples collected by Shogrin Minerals returned assays <10 ppb Au.
Dec 01, 2015 (C Salo) - Leahy reported that (metamorphosed) volcanic rocks which have been sheared at 070-090 are locally pyritic and are quartz-epidote vein bearing. A 5 foot channel sample from the area is reported to have contained 0.04 ounce of gold per ton.
