Access Description: The property is reached by the Gibson Lake Road, south from highway 101. Drive south along the Gibson Lake road to the Lipsette Lake road (19 km). Drive east along the Lipsette Lake road for 2 km to Lipsette Lake and then continue north for 3 km.



Exploration History

1981-84: Johns Manville Canada Inc. - stripping, sampling, mapping, radiometric survey, ground geophysics. 1992-94: Demarchi and Kaltwasser: mapping, ground geophysics, sampling, trenching, geochemistry. 1997: Haddington Resources/Silverstone Resources Ltd. - ground geophysics, mapping, geochemistry, 2 ddh (200 m).

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The showing consists of several pyrite-bearing quartz-filled fractures within chloritic schists. Gold values are associated with wide pyrite selvages about narrow quartz veins.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A chip sample collected by Johns Manville returned an assay of 0.49 oz/t Au from a trench. Grab samples collected by Dermarchi and Katwasser from the same area returned assays up to 5.1 g/t Au and 110 g/t Au. Chip samples collected from the Main showing returned values up to 13.17 g/t Au over 0.61 m. Channel samples collected by Haddington returned values up to 29.35 g/t Au over 0.4 m.
