Apr 22, 2016 (C Salo) - Sparsely exposed weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) subaqueously deposited mafic to felsic volcanic rocks of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group and diabase dikes host cherty quartz stringers, disseminated pyrite, quartz-carbonate veins, and hematite veins, all of unspecified geometry.

Apr 22, 2016 (A Wilson) - Outcrop exposures in the vicinity of the showings indicate that gold-bearing quartz stringers and veins lie within a pillowed volcanic unit that has been foliated in a N 55ºW direction. The foliation and quartz stringers appear to dip steeply SW. The volcanic units are out by diorite dykes or sills, one of which trends NE. The siliceous fragmental volcanic unit with scattered low gold values out in DDH #275 has not been observed on surface exposures. Green quartz carbonate zones are present within the NW-trending foliated pillow lavas and are exposed in rubble from one water filled pit adjacent and NE of the stringer zones. No carbonates were intersected in the drill holes, probably because the holes were not drilled deep enough.

Apr 22, 2016 (A Wilson) - These quartz veins, from two to four inches in width, appeared similar to white pegmatitic quartz, containing disseminated pyrite within small fractures. Assayed chip samples have given favourable results though less than previous reported values. These values range from 0.02 oz./t to 0.72 oz./t while visible gold was not evident in the samples. The highest value was 1.51 oz./t Au over 1.5 ft. Silver values ranged from 0.02 oz/t Ag to 0.07 oz/t Ag over 1 ft. Samples collected from the property in 1993 returned best assays of 0.35 oz/t Au and 0.26 oz/t Au.
Apr 22, 2016 (C Salo) - Samples from the area yielded assays as high as 1.51 and 2.94 ounce of gold per ton and anomalously elevated silver tenors across intervals of 1.5 and 1.3 feet, respectively. A 12 inch wide northwest striking quartz vein is reported (assessment files) to be well mineralized with pyrite and to have yielded assays ranging from 0.01 to 0.19 ounce of gold per ton.
