Access Description: Point Located: A point 1.90 km north and 2.85 km west of the southeast boundary of Michaud Township.
1967: Amax Exploration Inc. completed a geochemical survey and diamond drilled 2 holes totalling 712 feet in the south half of lot 4, concession II, Michaud Township. 1982- 1983: Nahanni Mines Ltd. completed geological mapping and magnetic, VLF, and HL electromagnetic surveys.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Largely glacial drift covered (Baker et al. 1980; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) fine to medium grained weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) greywacke within the Porcupine-Destor Fault Zone (Satterly 1949; Jensen 1989, 1985; Jensen and Baker 1986; Johnstone and Steele 1989; Troop 1989) containing feldspar clasts as large as 1/8 inch in size hosts calcite-quartz filled fractures with associated bleached halos. 2-5% of disseminated pyrite is associated with the fractures. The best assay reported in the assessment files (Resident Geologist's Office, Kirkland Lake) is from Amax Exploration hole no. KX-26: 0.01 ounce of gold per ton across a 5 foot core length.
