1948?: Drill holes 31 and 32 by Marchand Mines Ltd. intersected the dike to the southeast of the Michaud blow. 1988?: Falconbridge Limited diamond drilled a number of holes into 2 kimberlite dikes and a blow along a southeast trending dike. Hole Mi33-13 intersected 23 m of kimberlite breccia in what has been termed a blow in the dike.
