Apr 18, 2016 (C Salo) - Bedrock in the area is largely glacial drift covered and consists mainly of weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) east northeast striking, steeply dipping, and south facing basalt of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group near the inferred contact developed between Kinojevis Group volcanic rocks and (metamorphosed) (Archean) Porcupine Group or (Archean) Timiskaming Group sediments.
