Access Description: Proceed from highway 11 at rock cut 2km north of Bourkes Road. Turn west on south edge of outcrop for 100m to first pit.
1920-1921: Bergstrand – prospecting, test pitting Prospecting by Bergstrand returned low gold assays from porphyry dikes and veins. 1984-2002: C. Rodholm - stripping, pitting, sampling and assaying.

May 25, 2016 (A Wilson) - Low gold assays have been obtained from the porphyry dikes and some of the veins. Samples collected by C. Rodholm returned Cr values ranging from 256 ppm to 500 ppm; Cu values from 199 ppm to 306 ppm; Mn values ranging from 302 ppm to 600 ppm and Ti values ranging from 0.17 % to 0.23%. A sample collected in 2006 assayed 1000 ppb Au.

Notes: Property visited August 12, 1999 . wandered property tooking for pits. May not have gotten far enought west. Found an old pit. Rocks had some disseminated py and possibly pyrrhotite. Appeared to be mafic tholeiitic volcanics rocks. Did not find coarse grained mafic or feldspar porphyry as expected. Sample 99321
