Point Location Description: Shaft

Location Method: AMIS Site Visit

Access Description: Proceed from highway 11 and travel east on Bourkes Road (Benoit Concession I-II Road) for 7km. Continue south 400m to outcrop. Area from road to shaft is mostly cutover. Road is passable by 4x4 to first creek at 6.3km mark. Track used by excavator to clean shaft area is obscured by cutover. Track may lead south from road 250m west of 7km mark.



Exploration History

pre-1940: shaft and lateral development of unspecified dimensions. 1944: DD-2-700 ft.; 3 x-ray drill holes by Avery. 1999: Trinity Explorations: airborne magnetometer and EM survey.

Mineralization Comments

May 27, 2016 (A Wilson) - Fine native gold in the quartz-carbonate stockworks returned assays of $8.05 to $18.20 gold. An x-ray hole drilled to intersect the zone below the highest grade pit returned 2.2 feet assaying $10.00.
