Location Method: Data Compilation

Access Description: Proceed from the north end of Duncan Ave in Kirkland Lake and take Goodfish (Airport) Road for 11km north to a 90 degree corner on paved road. Travel north on gravel road for 3.9km staying left and at 4.6km keep left again. At 9.9km cross Melba Creek and stay on the main road for 14.5km to a gate. Proceed 0.7km past the gate to a hunt camp and continue 75m east on footpath to the top of High Falls. From High Falls, go 30m south on trail to S-1. S-2 is 60m due south of S-1.

Lithology Comments

May 30, 2016 (A Wilson) - Pillowed and agglomeratic intermediate metavolcanics are cut by a vertical quartz-carbonate vein. The vein is 500 ft long and 1 foot wide, strikes N20W and contains small specks of chalcopyrite and gold.

Mineralization Comments

May 30, 2016 (A Wilson) - At High Falls (patented claim L8891) small specks of chalcopyrite and gold occur sporadically in a vertical, quartz-calcite vein striking N20W. The vein is 500 feet long and 1 foot wide. The average grade of the vein is 0.10 oz/t Au and the ounces of gold per vertical metres is 4.86 oz/t.
