Access Description: Proceed from highway 11 and take Bourkes Road west for 3.9km to a winter road leading south. Travel 125m, then west 30m to diamond drill casings flowing water. Walk south 100m to site.

1917: stripping of the quartz vein. Circa 1921 – inclined shaft to depth of 40 ft.1988: Villeneuve Resources Ltd. – ground magnetics and VLF-EM surveys; DD-10-5351 ft. 1990: Rochon – sampling, mapping. 1992: O Hicks – DD-4-1765 ft.; assays. 2006: R. Rousseau and R. Rochon - prospecting

Lithology Comments

May 26, 2016 (A Wilson) - The quartz vein is 210 feet long and 1 foot wide. It strikes northeast and dips 45ºSW to almost horizontal. Along the footwall between the vein and the volcanic rocks is a felsite dike containing considerable pyrite and some chalcopyrite and galena.

May 26, 2016 (A Wilson) - Assays from the most recent trenches range from 0.001 oz./t Au to 0.587 oz./t Au. Assays from the samples collected in 2006 returned gold values ranging from 0.011 oz./t Au to 0.019 oz./t Au. Copper assays ranged from 0.003% to 0.015% Cu.
