Exploration History

1946 - Legend Gold Mining Limited stripped and trenched 2 quartz filled shear zones west of Errett Lake. 1947 - J.J. Gray diamond drilled a 450' hole west of Errett Lake. 1978-1979 - Ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys by Card Lake Gold Mines as well as 17 diamond drill holes totalling 7000'. Gold assays to 0.805 opt over 20'. 1988 - Ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys, geological mapping, trenching and 1039 m of diamond drilling in 5 holes. Assaying did not compare with Card Lake's results. 1990 - Botchawna diamond drilled 5 closely spaced holes totalling 1004' as follow-up to Card Lake's hole 79-13. This holes was drilled north of Errett Lake. 1994 - Leahy and Bochawna completed IP, stripping and diamond drilled 3 short holes totalling 654' southeast and north of Errett Lake. 1996 - Gold Coral Resources Inc. diamond drilled 5 holes totalling 659 m. Two holes were drilled northeast of Errett Lake and 3 holes to the southeast. 1997 - Gold Coral Resources Inc. diamond drilled 3 holes totalling 480 m northwest of Errett Lake.
