Exploration History

1946 - Legend Gold Mining Limited stripped and trenched 2 quartz filled shear zones west of Errett Lake. 1947 - J.J. Gray diamond drilled a 450' hole west of Errett Lake. 1978-1979 - Ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys by Card Lake Gold Mines as well as 17 diamond drill holes totalling 7000'. Gold assays to 0.805 opt over 20'. 1988 - Ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys, geological mapping, trenching and 1039 m of diamond drilling in 5 holes. Assaying did not compare with Card Lake's results. 1990 - Botchawna diamond drilled 5 closely spaced holes totalling 1004' as follow-up to Card Lake's hole 79-13. This holes was drilled north of Errett Lake. 1994 - Leahy and Botchawna completed IP, stripping and diamond drilled 3 short holes totalling 654' southeast and north of Errett Lake. 1996 - Gold Coral Resources Inc. diamond drilled 5 holes totalling 659 m. Mineral Record Details

Site Visit Information

Date: Jun 19, 2001

Geologist: D Guidon

Notes: Property visited August 1999 with Chantal Jolette. Used Lovell's geology map to try to find pits. Followed road from south side of Errett Lake northwest along west side of lake. Looked for pits shown on map but did not find any. Sample location plots out on trend of mineralixation. Sample of exposed rock with disseminated pyrite in massive medium grain mafic volcanic.
