1965: Twin Falls Syndicate completed a geophysical survey and follow-up ground electromagnetic and magnetic surveys. Three holes totalling at least 260 m were diamond drilled; no assay data from these holes are reported. 1985: Comstate Resources Ltd. prospected the area. No reported assay value was greater than 10 ppb of gold.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Exploration was concentrated along the faulted contact between weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) carbonatized feldspar phyric andesite and sediments where the contact is exposed along the Shallow River in the north half of the north half of lot 8, concession VI, Coulson Township (Leahy and Ginn 1962, Johnstone 1986, Jensen and Baker 1986, Gupta and Johnstone 1987, Johnstone and Steele 1989). No reported gold assays are greater than 0.01 ounce of gold per ton.
