Point Location Description: A point 1.40 km south and 3.20 km east of the northwest corner of Munro Township.

1962: Canadian Johns-Manville Co. Ltd. completed a geophysical survey of the Warden Hill area. 1963-1964: Johns-Manville drilled 6 diamond drill holes totalling 2,971 feet.

Dec 07, 2005 (R Degagne) - Chrysotile asbestos fibre veins up to 3/16 inches wide were intersected by diamond drilling (Vos 1971). Geological mapping (Satterly 1952; Johnstone and Trowell 1985, 1984; Jensen and Baker 1986; Johnstone 1987; Johnstone and Steele 1989; Vagners 1984; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) indicates that bedrock in the area consists of weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic grade) volcanic rocks of the (Archean) Stoughton-Roquemaure Group.
