Access Description: A point 3.99 km north and 1.38 km east of the southeast corner of McCool Twp.
1919: Asbestos fibre 1 inch long was reported to occur in this part of McCool Township (Knight et al. 1919). 1949- 1951: Canadian Johns-Manville Co. Ltd. completed a magnetic survey and diamond drilled 10 holes totalling 6,909 feet. 1961: Canadian Johns-Manville Co. completed a geophysical survey and diamond drilled 2 holes totalling 1,333 feet.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Geological mapping (Satterly 1953; Johnstone and Trowell 1985; Jensen and Baker 1986; Gupta and Johnstone 1987; Johnstone and Steele 1989; Vagners 1984; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) indicates that sparsely exposed bedrock in the area consists mainly of weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic grade) mafic to ultramafic volcanic and/or intrusive rocks of the (Archean) Stoughton-Roquemaure Group.
