Access Description: A point 0.12 km south and 6.17 km west of the northeast corner of Guibord Twp.
1938: Claim nos. 37684 and 37685 (the west half of the north half of lot 8, concession VI, Guibord Township) were staked by O.H. Barrett. 1949- 1950: Broulan Porcupine Mines Ltd. diamond drilled 2 holes totalling 1,780 feet. 1976- 1979: F. Blake completed magnetic and electromagnetic surveys and diamond drilled 2 holes totalling 1,126 feet.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Quartz veins of unspecified size or geometry are reported to be hosted by variably glacial drift covered (Vagners 1984; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) variably carbonatized weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic grade) greywacke, argillite, and pebble conglomerate of the (Archean) Porcupine Group (Johnstone and Trowell 1985, 1984; Jensen and Baker 1986; Johnstone 1987; Johnstone and Steele 1989; Troop 1989) which is intruded by pyritic feldspar porphyry and lamprophyre dikes. Prest (1953) reported that: ...quartz stringers were noted carrying specks of pyrrhotite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and possibly sphalerite. In a rusty zone in a small lamprophyre dike, [Resident Geologist N.] Hogg records a 1/2 inch quartz stringer with specks of visible gold... (p.40).
