Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - A pit excavated into pillowed lava exposing a 0.5 inch wide quartz stringer containing galena and pyrite was noted by Satterly (1953). No references indicating the presence in the area of anomalous mineralization were found by Bath (1990).
