Access Description: A point 0.10 km south and 7.55 km west of the northeast corner of Guibord Twp.
1911: Claim no. 9257 (the northwest quarter of the north half of lot 10, concession VI, Guibord Township) was held by Munro Mines Ltd. (Prest 1953). 1936: Claim no. 9257 was held by the White-Guyatt Mining Co. Ltd. (NMI card 42A/09 Au21). 1946-1947: White-Guyatt Mining Co. diamond drilled 5 holes totalling 3,215 feet on patented claim no. 9257 (Prest (1953). 1952: The claim was held by White-Guyatt Mining Co. (Prest 1953).

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Pits and trenches exposed circa 1950 are reported (Prest 1953) to have exposed narrow (less than 3 feet in width), 045-080 striking quartz-(carbonate) veins and stringers which dip moderately to the northwest and southeast. The veins (and locally developed zones of silicification and sericitization) are hosted by largely glacial drift covered (Vagners 1984; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) variably carbonatized clastic sediment of the (Archean) Porcupine Group (Johnstone and Trowell 1985, Jensen and Baker 1986, Johnstone and Steele 1989) which strike southeast and which are overturned and dip steeply south (Prest 1953). The veins are spatially associated with at least 2 northeast striking crossfaults which may be locally carbonatized and across which limited apparent dextral horizontal displacement may have occurred (Prest 1953, Troop 1989).
