Feb 12, 2016 (C Salo) - Largely glacial drift covered sheared weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) volcanic rocks of the (Archean) Stoughton-Roquemaure Group are reported to be intruded by and are contained as xenoliths within an intrusive body of grey coarse grained hornblende quartz monzonite (assessment files, Resident Geologist's Office, Kirkland Lake).

Feb 12, 2016 (A Wilson) - The highest gold value was from sample KC-545, showing 44.9 ppb Au. Sample KC-546 assayed 235 ppm Ni. Samples KC-545, 546 and 549 show Fe values >4%, with sample KC-546 being the highest, at 4.8% Fe. Sample KC-546 assayed 23.1 ppm Co.
Feb 12, 2016 (C Salo) - The best gold assays reported from the area are from Hollinger Consolidated Gold Mines drill hole nos. B1 and B5. Drill hole no. B5 is reported to have yielded a 5 foot diamond drill core length of andesitic schist which averaged 0.02 oz./t Au. Drill hole no. B1 is reported to have yielded a 5.5 foot long core section which averaged 0.02 oz./t Au per ton (assessment files).
