Feb 09, 2016 (A Wilson) - The outcrop exposures in the area indicate that the property is mainly underlain by steeply south dipping altered metasedimentary rocks, which strike east-southeast. The cherty rhyolite tuff encountered just east of the property, may in fact maybe a felsite similar to that found as small intrusive bodies in the sediments. This suggests that the property also contains a felsic intrusive. Silicified fractures, with an orientation similar to the auriferous quartz veins on adjacent ground, were found in outcrop on the property. This suggests that similar gold bearing structures may also exist on the property. The metasediments are described as greywacke, siltstone, slate and agglomerate. A 200 to 300 foot wide diorite sill strikes east-southeast intruding the metasediments, 1000 to 1500 feet north of the western and central parts of the property. The sill may cross the extreme northeastern boundary of the claim group. A lamprophyre dyke trends south-southwest, through the metasediments 500 feet north of the central part of the property. A second lamprophyre dyke, striking 260º, is located within 200 feet of the northwestern boundary.
Feb 09, 2016 (A Wilson) - Gold grain analysis for the reverse circulation drilling program returned values ranging from 30 ppb to 1223 ppb Au. Assays from the Totem Mining drill holes returned the following values: DDH-96-HWY-02, returned assays ranging from 30 ppb to 560 ppb over widths up to 5 feet. DDH 96-HWY-03, 0.15 g/t Au over 3 ft. and 0.35 g/t over 4 ft. DDH 96-HWY-05, 0.20 g/t Au over 2 ft. in quartz veins. DDH 96-HWY-06, 0.10 g/t Au over 2 ft. and 0.30 g/t Au over 2 ft.
