Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Poorly exposed weakly altered (sericitic) weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) dacite and graphitic interbeds of the (Archean) Stoughton-Roquemaure Group are spatially associated with a regional scale east striking syncline/anticline pair and are cut by quartz-carbonate stringers (Leahy and Ginn 1962; Jensen and Baker 1986; Gupta and Johnstone 1987; Johnstone and Steele 1989; Richard and McClenaghan 1985; Vagners 1984; McClenaghan et al. 1987, 1988; Steele 1988).
