1978: Hollinger Mines Ltd. completed an electromagnetic survey. 1979: Hollinger Mines diamond drilled 2 holes totalling 1,421 feet which were targeted on an east striking bedrock conductor.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Poorly exposed weakly altered (sericitic) weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) dacite and graphitic interbeds of the (Archean) Stoughton-Roquemaure Group are spatially associated with a regional scale east striking syncline/anticline pair and are cut by quartz-carbonate stringers (Leahy and Ginn 1962; Jensen and Baker 1986; Gupta and Johnstone 1987; Johnstone and Steele 1989; Richard and McClenaghan 1985; Vagners 1984; McClenaghan et al. 1987, 1988; Steele 1988).

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Hollinger Mines diamond drill hole no. WI-3-2-80 yielded a 5 foot core section which averaged 0.01 ounce of gold per ton and hole no. WI-3-1-80 yielded a 20 foot core section of variably sheared talc, carbonate, and graphite tuff (schist) which averaged 350 ppm of copper, 112 ppm of lead, 1,760 ppm of zinc, 1 ppm of silver, and trace gold.
